When I photograph a newborn, I love simplicity. A soft blanket. A little adornment for a girl. Sweet and simple. But I was excited for the opportunity to help transform baby Teagan into a little fairy. And what a precious fairy she made. Even with all the glitter and tulle, she slept soundly.

These are my three. So full of life. So full of personality. So full of NEVER SIT STILL! These shots were nigh on impossible. I had to beg my husband to act as ridiculous as imaginable to get smiles. Even then, the shot of my middle child is not crisp and clear (which secretly kills me). He wouldn't stop moving; not even for a second. Even with all their on-the-go, I love them to the moon and back.

This sweet little girl strapped to tubes and wires is Teagan. She is the brand new baby girl of a dear friend of twenty years. Though delivery didn't go quite as planned, she made it here and is doing well. After a little more monitoring, she will be in her mother's arms to stay.

My precious little one has arrived! Daniel was born in the afternoon of May 25th, just several hours before I was scheduled to be induced. He has been a blessing in our home; his brothers love him dearly. I am absolutely smitten!
